PIPES – Sum 3D Pipe Lengths by Diameter (Free AutoCAD LISP)

11th August 2026

FREE AUTOCAD LISP

PIPES — total 3D pipe length per diameter, in one table

Select your 3D solid pipes and PIPES inserts a table with the total length of every diameter — a Diameter column and a Length column, one row per size.

It reads true cylinders: pipes drawn with the CYLINDER command, or circles extruded or swept along a straight path. Anything that is not a cylindrical solid is simply ignored, so a window selection over the whole model works.

How to use it

  1. Unzip, then load the .lsp with APPLOAD.
  2. Type PIPES.
  3. Select the 3D solids – non-cylinders are filtered out automatically.
  4. Pick the table insertion point. One row per diameter.
