LEGEND – Automatic Legend from Your Layers (Free AutoCAD LISP)

11th August 2026

FREE AUTOCAD LISP

LEGEND — the drawing’s legend, built from what you select

Select the objects that should be explained and LEGEND builds the legend for you — one row per layer / linetype / colour combination found in the selection, drawn with a sample line and the layer’s name.

Text height follows your current style — annotative styles scale with the annotation scale, plain styles follow LTSCALE — so the legend lands at drawing-appropriate size in model or paper space.
