ZLABEL – Label Z Values on Contour Lines (Free AutoCAD LISP)

11th August 2026

FREE AUTOCAD LISP

ZLABEL — label the Z value of every contour line, automatically

Topography drawings live and die by their elevation labels. ZLABEL reads the Z value of the lines you pick and writes it as a label — no typing elevations by hand, no mislabeled contours.

It works with annotative text styles, so the labels come in at the right size for your drawing scale.

How to use it

  1. Unzip, then load the .fas with APPLOAD (loads exactly like a .lsp).
